i got a new car. five days later the skies grew angry and dumped 2 feet of snow on us in 2 days. it was awesome. brandon and i finished our box, and we drug it out into a golf course and hit it. good times.

update

so, this is the second snow in october. not much of anything, slushy, and all the remaining green leaves dropped. currently at cafe europa. it's 3 streets over from us and its our first time here. casey and tracie are here with me, and we're all sipping our respective drinks. i've got a large bhakti chai latte, which is excellent. very spicy.

who knows where the time goes?

Life Update.
Been doin stuff. Camping at Royal Gorge being the most recent. Brandon and I now each have full park board set ups and are building a box rail. It just needs sides, paint, and some HDPE plastic sheeting for the top. Somehow surviving my job, searching for others. Working on building a website for my portfolio.

Excited to see Where the Wild Things Are. I hope spike jonze does a good job, it looks excellent. I've heard also that spike jonze is adapting the short story, Light Boxes. Which could also be very amazing.

That's all I guess, got bloggers block.
Bought 3 series of shows that got cancelled before their time for like $3 each on amazon marketplace. Watching one now, Mission Hill. Great stuff, can't wait to watch through the Oblongs, and Nighty Night.

reign in blood

i just saw a man get a beer mug smashed on his face while walking down broadway. me and my roommate tracie got showered in beer and broken glass. the assailant ran across the street into the goodwill, and 3 guys chased after him. after he ran out the back, he ran back past us and disappeared around the corner. the man who got hit was bleeding a lot, and had a huge gash above his left ear. blood was running down his neck and chest. he was chasing he man with a police baton.

wild child

after leaving my friend tash's cabin in the mountains, i was driving the windy mountain roads. a cop driving an suv flew past me. a couple miles down the road i saw three cop cars with their lights flashing. as i got closer i noticed several motorcycles parked on the side of the road. as i passed, i saw an old biker sitting on the side of the road. cops were talking to him. it looked as though we laid down his bike on the turn. the grass in the median was all tossed up, and there where scraps and scrapes on the road. the biker was probably at least 50 years old. he was sitting up, and he wore black cat glasses, and a long sleeve t-shirt under his leather, biker, vest. blood was soaking through the white shirt, road rash probably. the man looked a little thrashed, but ok. i've never seen carnage like that. i've never really been in a car accident, never seen someone completely wrecked.
